We believe in transforming the lives of children and young people by creating opportunities to learn, grow and develop through education. Since 1991, John Lyon’s Charity has distributed over £186 million in grants to a range of organisations that seek to promote the life-chances of children and young people through education.
The first episode of our inaugural podcast series, Stronger Voices Together, is now live!
Stronger Voices Together is a podcast brought to you by John Lyon’s Charity and hosted by esteemed disability activist Lucy Edwards, which promises to unravel the narratives, challenges, and triumphs within the world of disability, with a particular focus on Arts and cultural engagement.
This series will unfold over five episodes, which will be released every two weeks starting from Tuesday 23rd April.
Through insightful conversations, this podcast aims to amplify the voices of D/deaf, visually impaired, neurodiverse, and disabled children and young adults, as well as their families, schools, and the organisations working with them.
